Watch Dogs Won't Update on XBOXONE.

I scanned the forums and can't find anyone else who's had this problem. I went through the support instructions and still couldn't get it to work. At this point I'm pretty desperate to know if updating is just not working with XBOXLIVE atm or if I have a
serious problem right now.

Installed watch dogs 2, then I start the game comes up with needs a update an it won't don't it

 

looks like we are getting GTA 5 (rumor)

Probably won't release it till a good while after watch dogs. They put watch dogs back so it wouldn't affect the gta Xmas sales.

Well, other people having the problem is slightly reassuring it's not just my hardware.

 

Same here, even tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling. Sucks too. Really love the random online hacking into others. I'm thinking its most likely a ubisoft issue.

 

Try clearing your Xbox One's cache and try the download again, may help your issue:

1. Power down your console

2. Unplug the power cable from the back of the console.

3. Wait for about 2 minutes

4. Plug the power cable into the back of the console

5.Wait for the power brick to go from a white light to an orange light

6. Turn the power on

Watch Dogs servers have been pretty loaded and not running as smooth as we'd like. My game hung every time it match made me into multiplayer yesterday due to their servers.

 

I tried doing what Bazajaytee said and that didn't work. but i did turn off auto updates and then reinstalled the game and that worked partially. I ended up having to restart my game and now i do not have a problem at all playing it.
