Watch Dogs Still Offline?

I've been playing Watch Dogs for a few days now and anytime I try to use an online feature it gives me an error message saying I must be connected to xbox live, but im fully connected and have tried restarting both the game and console. I know uPlay's servers
were having a lot of problems, but is this different? Any suggestions? Thanks

Which is the best of these games? GTA IV, GTA V, WD or Sleeping Dogs?

I haven't played GTA V yet but GTA is still better than Watch Dogs or Sleeping Dogs in my opinion.

 

What game do you really want that hasn't came out yet?

I was excited for watch dogs at first, but im not really into hacking. the game I really want to play is the crew.

According to this article and a tweet from the developers there are knowing issues with their authentication services.

Might be worth checking all is ok with your Uplay account.

Thanks for the responses, i should have been more clear, when I select the game to play, it immediately asks if I want to connect to the ubisoft servers, and when I hit 'connect' it tells me Im not connected to xbox live, and if I try to skip to the main
menu to use other online features I get the same message. It's like the game isnt recognizing my connection, but my internet connection is working and so are all other features on my console. Doesnt seem like a uPlay problem anymore

 

Im having the same issue here. Yeasterday was ok, but today (June 10th) is not connecting.

 

I still haven't had any luck :/ tried uninstalling and reinstalling, reset the router, console on/off, all that good stuff and still nothing

 

Same here. Started happening to me yesterday. Asks if I want to connect from the get go then tells me I'm not connected to xbox live when I can play my other online games just fine.

 

I am also having this problem, glad I am not the only one. Is there any news that this will be fixed or is there anything I need to do?

 

Well Its 7/27/14 and still the same issues as the following threads in this forum. I cannot connect i get the same error messages. If i knew this before I would not buy this game. Since the game game out the issues have been their and i have a feeling they
knew this would happen. that's why they had the late release. I just want to play the game but i cant use the online function to play against others. Im starting to hate uplay.
