Watch Dogs opinion?

Yeah it may not deliver anything new for a open-worlder, but there's heaps to keep the player busy, and the story's original. Worth every penny.

 

I've put in around 27 hours and I'm only 41.1% complete. I totally love multiplayer. It's some of the best times I've had in online gaming.

 

Overall, Ive found the game enjoyable. Lots to do, hacking is fun, and Ive enjoyed the story more than any other open world game.(cant stand the gta plots, bought 3,vc,sa,4,and 5 and Ive collectively completed about 10 or so missions)

I got it a few days ago it remind me a lot of mafia II but that guy you play what a bore

 

I liked it, single player IMO is the best part, the interaction between players games is good, the multiplayer is lacking IMO.

Like the story mode, some of the stuff can get a little repetitive if you only focus on that section, but theres enough to distract.

IMO not enough gang hide outs, and would benefit from some bigger, harder missions, like the arms dealing and mission, but a little bigger.

Kudos to anyone that had reached 10 in all the drinking games, they get very hard, I am almost done but not there yet.

 

I just got Watchdogs and have enjoyed it so far. It has exceeded my expectations. Its worth a try.

Its a very good game, I've played both pc and console, console is better.

 

Just cleared the story, was enjoyable all the way through. Now to complete the last 45%. Likely another 50plus hours lol.That said, I still recommend this title. Enjoyed it infinately more than any gta game to date.

 

I happen to enjoy the whole concept. Online free roam is twitchy. Encountered a lot of lag with other fixers. Not sure who this works really. I was joined by other fixers and we just shot up the police. I am cool with free roam between champagne. You get
ambushed by fixers and you need to stop their hacks or profile them and take them down before they complete the hacks or you're a victim. Losing notoriety. There is no online match making as with many of the games we are accustomed to. Still It is worth the
money I spent. Be interesting to see if this game progresses to the point of GTA5 Other than the lag in free roam online. It is cool. The other online applications work well. Zero lag. 1v1 fixer contracts online tailing etc. Peace.

 

Loving it. Just completed campaign so going back and doing all the other stuff now.

Anyone got the DLC with T-Bone campaign as I usually thing DLC is a rip off but looks good for WD.

Bought a trade in copy so well worth it

 

It's probably safe to say that if you like the GTA series, you will like WD. The greatest open-world game to date? Hells no. But a good one. I personally thought the storyline of GTA V was better, but WD kept me entertained enough. I feel after you are done
with main storyline there is zero replayability, but then again I have not touched GTA V since I beat the campaign either. But like I said, if you find big open world games with lots of stuff to do groovy, you will like WD. If you enjoy shooting the hell out
of digital humans in an urban environment, you will LOVE WD!

 

I really enjoyed the game (and still am.) The story sort of hits a lull in the middle but really, really picks up toward the 4th and 5th acts. It becomes very sad but bittersweet. Some of the missions are a pain (instant-fail stealth stuff mostly) but the
gang hideouts are a hoot since you can handle them any way you like.

The multiplayer however is under-developed and messy. The 1 v. 1 hacking is pretty neat but the 4 v. 4 data decryption mode becomes almost unplayable due to lag and huge frame rate drops after a session or so. The free roam is OK but there's not much to
do beyond shooting each other, plus you appear as some random civilian and cannot customize your online look at all.

So go for the single player, pass on the online stuff.

 

Many of the missions are the same. Chase in a car, which in my opinion has the worst control of any vehicle game I have played. Infiltrate a gangs lair. At first this is intriguing as you can hack your way in, blow up enemies from afar, but that grows old.
The NCPs are dumber than dirt, all gathering over a body so you can frag them all at once.. The developers couldn't decide if this game was SP or MP. So they decided you can enter someones game to hack them without trying to get caught. This to me was the
most irritating aspect of the game. You are in the middle of something and someone comes in and starts hacking you. Supposedly you are supposed to stop them in a certain time period by scanning the area. The first few times I just let them hack me and went
on, but it occurs so often, I shut it off in settings. The most fun I had was turning on the ctos towers, but now I have done them all. Some people will love this game as it is a good game if yo want to do a lot of online play. But for me it was a disappointing
game. I'll wind up probably selling it on eBay.
