Watch Dogs not recognizing Xbox Live

Several days ago, Watch Dogs stopped recognizing that I was online through Xbox Live. While achievements so far continue to function fine and the service works on other applications that require internet access such as Netflix even while Watch Dogs is active,
this prevents active connection to UPlay which is not allowing in game rewards to be accessed or progress to be uploaded to my account. I tried removing my profile, clearing the Xbox One cache, and uninstalling/reinstalling the disc with no success. Is this
an ongoing issue with UPlay or a system issue?

I was just reading about this, apparently it was done in error.

 

Watch Dogs DLC codes not working

I got Watch Dogs yesterday and tried again. Turns out they're "Ubisoft codes", not Xbox live codes. They're redeemable ingame.

 

Try holding down the Xbox button on the front of the console for 10 seconds until it turns off.

Unplug the power supply, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in.

Turn the console back on, sign into Xbox Live and attempt to go online through the game.
