    Watch Dogs Legion Has severe audio pops and crackling on Xbox Series X


    Since getting a series X I have not been able to play Watchdogs Legion anymore because of that broken Series X upgrade.



    On series X the main menu, the map screen and the pause screen has serious audio popping and crackling. It even happens in game too although less often.



    Is there any way to run the Xbox One X version of this game on the Series X though backwards compatibility?



    I don't want the upgrade.



    The Xbox One X version worked fine but the Series X version is broken. I honestly wander how an issue this bad can get past testing.



    I am not the only person having this issue. Others on reddit, the microsoft forums and the ubisoft forums have this issue too

    Ray Tracing

    Hi,

    Ray Tracing is on a per-game basis on both the Series S and the Series X. Some games have it, some do not. If a game has Ray Tracing it will normally be in it's options menu. Some games such as Watch Dogs Legion have ray tracing enabled by default.

    Unlike Series X, the S model does not have RT for some games that the Series X has.

    I keep forgetting about a new watch dogs game. I get excited for it, then it gets delayed, then I forget about it, then someone post about it. Maybe early 2021 or somewhere in the middle of the series x's lifespan watch dogs legion might come out.
