Watch Dogs dialogue audio

There's no dialogue audio and it sounds like the audio cuts in and out. On digital audio i have my hdmi audio set to 5.1 uncompressed and whenever i change it to stereo uncompressed the audio is fine. This happened to Wolfenstein as well.

No dialogue audio for games

Whenever I play Watch Dogs there's no dialogue audio and it sounds like some audio is missing or cuts in and out. To fix this I have to go to sound settings and change my hdmi audio from 5.1 uncompressed to stereo uncompressed and the audio is fine.
This happens to Wolfenstein as well.

hello, I bought the watch dogs translated into Portuguese, but does not appear the audio option in Portuguese, English only, how to solve?

 

Yeah same happened to me. Happened on dead rising aswel.

 

It's probably that your system is trying to send audio through speakers it's unable to "find". 5.1 audio is 5 speakers and a sub. If you don't have that - or don't have it set up properly - and you have it set to 5.1, then you're going to miss some sounds.

 

Lou the Lou is right. Also if you do have 5.1 and find that your audio is suffering check to see if you are connected via optical audio cables. If you search out my post I posted a solution I found after going back and forth with xbox support via twitter
for days. Unfortunately the only solution I could find forced me to upgrade my surround sound system to one that supported optical audio. Once I did that my audio issues were fixed. The xbox one refuses to play nice with older outdated equipment. I currently
have to use my 1080i hdtv with the 720p settings because its either that or 1080p no in between.

 

Thanks for the suggestion but idk about that because I've had on 5.1 ever since got my xbox and the problems started when I first played Wolfenstein.
