Watch Dogs - cannot connect to live/online play

I received the game Watch Dogs the day it was released for xbox one, I have yet to connect to live while playing the game. Once I get onto xbox one i am able to log into xbox live and use codes it shows my friends and messages. I am able to do everything
else on live except play Watch Dogs w/ live. so I'm unable to interact with others live players and hack others and to make money do mission etc.

many ideas on what I need to do? Thanks in advance!

Cannot lunch a game

I downloaded Watch Dog a month ago for free because I have gold subscription, recently i tried to play but I have a message saying that I cannot play because I need to be connect to the profil that downloaded Watch dog first ( I just have 1 profil so im
pretty sure that the good one) or I must make sure that my gold subscription is activated ( I play other online games and i'm sure it activated) so what can I do?

So my question deals with the online thingy.

You have 2 Xbox One games, Sunset Overdrive and Watch Dogs. Neither of which are online only games. You may need to connect to Uplay for Watch Dogs but that is not a Microsoft issue.

 

When did you last try?

There have been persistent errors with Ubisoft servers since release which were affecting some people's ability to connect, but they should have cleared up by now. OS if you have not tried recently, do so now as it may work better this time.

 

I have the same problem and I have tried all day the last try being about an hour ago.

 

I cant get on ghosts watchdogs AC4 BF4 NBA Live 14 Trials the online parts of it it looks like a server black out

 

I play it all the time and it hadn't connected to live once. But just recently for the first time since the game was released it connected! Seriously like five minutes ago! So a lot of new stuff to do and figure out now. Thanks to those who responded and

KZG Inferno. There was an issue with Xbox Live which has been resolved now -
support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status this could have caused what you were seeing.

For the OP, as mentioned Watch Dogs is under heavy load and Ubisoft is working on resolving the connection issues. If connection fails try again later and you should connect just fine.

 

I still havent been able to get online yet, any suggestions?

 

Sounds like server issues overload with ubisoft
