Wasteland 2 - Game Pass for PC Save Issue

I'm sorry to hear about this save issue with these two games. In it's current state, the Xbox (Beta) app for PC doesn't give you a choice on what drive to save the progress or game to. From what I've seen, games installed from the app or available
to download from the Microsoft Store through the Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription are under the same program interface so it seems everything saves under the default drive that the OS is saved on and it does not allow permissions to configure the files.

I recommend using the built-in feedback tool within the Xbox (Beta) app to help us better understand the issue you are facing. Just click on your profile photo and select “Feedback” from the dropdown menu to open Feedback Hub. Feedback Hub enables
you to provide feedback about Windows and apps by sharing your suggestions or problems.

I don't care where the game installs - the save files normally save to a different location by default (My Documents) - they don't and this appears to be causing games issues (2 out of 3 I have tried)

I tried to give Feedback - and the app failed to register it

The play anywhere is based on the cloud saves, so that no matter where you play a game, the states are always updated. Which is the issue preventing you from saving on the cloud the PC saves? Are you playing the MS PC version logged in with your
account?

Thanks for your reply, Yeah I know that this is based on the cloud, and I played logged on my PC, I check many times and I saved in game and I waiting for an eventual sychronization, but nothing, appears on my xbox, when I started the game I have to started
from the beginning.

The fact is Wasteland 2 DE is Play Anywhere compatible since may 21th and I started the game a few week before, when the game was no Play Anywhere yet. Maybe it has something to do with my problem.

I haven't any issue with my other games like "Ori" or "Streets of Rage" with my saves when I started to play with my box... I only encounter issue with Wasteland 2 DE.

Have you found an answer to this problem? I tried playing wasteland 2 tonight 3 times and save games each time. When i exited to main menu the saves were gone and I only had the option for a new game.

No answer as of yet. However your problem seems to he different. My saves persist locally however not on different pc's.

According to the inXile support site, it looks like this issue has been traced to antivirus programs preventing the game from saving. They suggest whitelisting/allowing your game through your antivirus.
