Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut coming March to PS4 and Xbox One

Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in March.

The game includes a restructured campaign, new ship models, enhanced textures and lighting, and two new Strike Suits: the Marauder and the Raptor.
In addition, the Director's Cut will also include the Heroes of the Fleet campaign.

You'll be able to pick the game up for £14.99 on both PSN and Xbox LIVE. Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut is also coming to PC at a later date.

It's basically a retro-Fallout remake eh? C.L.A.S.S.I.C system [coordination, luck, awareness, speed etc] in place of S.P.E.C.I.A.L lol You can get wildly different character specs based on what you choose.

I like me a good isometric RPG every now and then. I still play ye olde Icewind Dale occasionally. I love the music, sound design, voices and story of it.

But it's on my list,when i'll get time.

 

I Kickstarted this game a couple years ago and still haven't played it on PC yet. Im glad now as I'll be able to use a controller now thanks to the console release. As soon as they update the PC version I'll be all over this.

 

I've seen some people say it's a cross between X-Com with it's turn based gameplay and Fallout with it's RPG elements.

If that is the case then take my money now

Wasteland 2 was my GOTY last year. Possibly one of my favorite games of all time and I am not ashamed to say that I have 300+ hours played on Steam. Looking at some of the screenshoots of the console version; the camera looks like it is zoomed in closer
than PC, it has a completely different engine, as well as changes to UI. They really put a lot of effort in this game for console.

I would be concerned about using a controller though. Radial wheels are not my thing. They work for games like GTA for when you select weapons but with the amount of STUFF in this game I'm not entirely certain the screen won't be cluttered with too much
UI.

I'll wait for a couple of reviews and hell I might just buy this again for PS4 to play on my big screen.

I've always loved Turn Based games and it's not just your comments, but reading others since it was announced for consoles has me really hyped for it.

I just hope they do a good job and it works smoothly with the pads on consoles.

Anyone else pre-order this in the UK?

It was suppose to release on the 16th, turned on the Xbox One today and it's good to go! All sites still say 13th for North America and 16th for UK etc.

Not complaining though
