I only booked that date because i was forced to use the last of my holidays or i would lose them if i hadnt used them by end of june

 

No judgments from me, only empathy, feel for ya mate.

What you want to do in your spare time is what you want to do, who cares whether you 'should' be doing this or that, just make yourself happy.

@cheesy.... wouldn't you be paid out for your unused holidays??? Enjoy the time outside of the house.... go hiking or fishing.... enjoy the weather.... my 2 cents

 

your first problem is playing racing games

 

If I didn't need crutches to get around I would go hiking but I do plan taking my kid fishing

 

No if you don't use holidays you lose them managed to change it got my birthday off instead

 

I always aim to take time off work a week or so after a game is released. That way I'm past the intro and am properly in the game by the time I get to have a 4+ hour session.

I'm sure there's other games you could play.

 

If you took a week off for a video game, it was wasted either way...

Love the way people judge try and tell people how they should be spending their own recreational time.

 

The best thing to do, if you play a lot of new games, is to arrange for Tuesdays to be one of your regular days off. It's usually easy to do, especially if you're willing to trade a weekend day off with someone else. Monday/Tuesdays are ideal for those
who buy new games regularly for you pre-download and rest up Monday so you're ready to go at Midnight without having to worry about work....

In uk so games out on a Friday

I seemed to have started something here I work uptp 10 hrs a day 5 days a week if I want to take time off to play some games that's my choice
