You will always lose months converting: 12 months of gold are 4 months of ultimate.

Usually when gold subscriptions get cheaper for sales, you will get a bit more: i bought for 40€ that 12 months, which is 4 months of ultimate. it is 10 bucks per months, which is quite a good price if you think about it: 120 per year, 60 for gold and 60
for game pass, which is, in the end, one new game

My daughter deleted her email address which was associated with the 12 month live gold membership in order to add my email, so that I could purchase minecraft for her and her sister. We only purchased xbox1 and live gold 12 month membership on Sunday, now
we can't use her email address because mine is saved in the Xbox and we can't access the xbox live gold. As she is 13years old I feel it is inappropriate to have her email associated with my credit card, can we retrieve the live membership account as we paid

I know how hard it is as a teen to get money. However, if you think a bit further than just the monthly Gold payments, try to save up some money, and buy yourself a 12 month prepaid Gold card.

These prepaid Gold cards are sometimes in a sale, and often stores sell these as a discount for about 40 US Dollars.

That means, a month of Gold would only cost you slightly more than 3 US Dollars compared to the 9 Dollars it costs you for a one month subscription. If you payed for Gold monthly, you'd pay 120 Dollars per year for your Gold membership. Compare that to the
60 US$ for a regular yearly subscription, or the 40US$ if you get the prepaid card in a sale or from a shop selling it at that discount.

If you're not in the US, the same works with your local currency.

Basically, getting a 12 month prepaid Gold card is much more cheaper in the long run (we're talking about A THIRD of the cost) than buying a Gold membership monthly.

And if you also keep in mind, that you get 4 free games each month for these 3something bucks, you are getting 48 games for FREE.

As a teen you should be getting some pocket money. When I was your age, I got an allowance of about 10 US$ per month plus bonuses if my grades were good. Which means, if I saved up for about 3-4 months, I could buy myself 12 months of Xbox Live, and then
have more games than time to play them, and have 12 months time to save up for another 40 bucks to buy my next 12 month card later.
