Waste of money and time

This is 100% unacceptable. To promote and encourage the digital purchase of a one of the biggest games of the year and then mess up like this and not even let the loyal customers such as myself to not be allowed to play the game when you promised us, is
just unacceptable. I've pre-downloaded this and have had to RE-DOWNLOAD it at midnight at extremely low speeds. WHAT was the point of not only preordering but also buying the $100 digital pro version if I can't even play it on the release date. There needs
to be some kind of reprimand for this, as I don't even want the game anymore, knowing that I'm going to be the last to play it when I bought it way ahead of time. Something needs to be done for these poor customers you got here worrying about playing a game
you promised them. Extra days for XP is not enough, we didn't spend 40 extra dollars for extra XP. This download situation needs to be taken care of and you need to take care of all the people such as myself who are extremely disappointed at this disaster
we were put through. I hope you take this into interest. Thank you.

Changing the color of the avatar hurts badly the Code of Conduct. If you've ever read it, you'd know.

My best tip is creating another account at your console, go gold for less than $60 and download you ACII free copy until next month. It's cheaper than buying the game and you'll be able to download next free games aswell.

Hopefully they will give a week of double xp for all day zero purchasers. Don't let it put you off the game, I've played some multiplayer and it is fantastic. A world away from the mess that was Ghosts.

Yeah I realized its not the games fault, it's got to be Microsoft. I was so dissapointed in ghosts and to have a game to look forward to just to be disapointed like this is just annoying.

Yes, i find it hard to believe that we have been suckered into paying extra for straight up false advertising. If your company cannot adequately compensate the increased server attention, you should not be allowed to charge us extra for a game we cannot
play.

I am now only at 61% download after 9 hours. This is pathetic and am expecting to receive compensation.

I doubt it's Microsoft's fault. This is the first digital preorder I've had an issue with. It's a just a software bug. It,s gonna be fixed. Mine was finally done installing when I got up this morning. They will probably end double XP. People need to relax.
It's just a game. And no one is paying "extra."

No service is immune to a DDOS attack, a big enough Botnet can take down any service. All microsoft can do is add more servers but if their Botnet is big enough that won't hrlp.

Shinc0, how can you call the people who are upset about this ungrateful? The people who Ddos'd or hacked or did whatever they did to shut down the xbox live and playstation networks said that they were going to do this exact thing on Christmas over a month
ago, after they had already shut down xbox live that day. So obviously this is not just a one and done issue and it's something that Microsoft should have been ready for or at least ready to respond and fix it quickly.

People just shelled out tons of money that they worked for to buy xbox's and xbox games as gifts and when you can't use those gifts that day, it is not the end of the world but it is terribly inconvenient and frustrating. And everyone affected should be
upset, not siding with a company that makes so much money off it's consumers. And you say people are being ungrateful as if Microsoft has not profited extensively off us, that's just ridiculous.

I know this can be frustrating at this time of year, but I'm sure Microsoft are trying their best to get everybody back online so that we can enjoy our shiny new toys. All we can do is try to be patient and wait until we hear something or the problem is
fixed, complaining isn't going to help the matter I'm afraid.

I am experiencing the same issue with Tekken 7. We pre-ordered the game on 02/01 and the charge came out at the end of May, which overdrew my bank account. We were not expecting those funds at that time. We assume funds come out at the time a purchase is
made, like most logical people. I disputed the charge thinking it was unauthorized and cancelled the debit card that was used. Xbox apparently didn't get the message that the charge was reversed and pulled the funds from my bank account again on 06/14. Thankfully
a chat agent was able to submit the request to just have the transaction cancelled and the funds returned to my bank. I'm okay with waiting a couple days.
