What happened to just every one buying the same exact copy of a game, and having rewards unlocked as opposed to making someone pay more than $60 for all that extra junk that will only kill the replay value? I mean come on, STANDARD EDITION, DELUXE EDITION,
SUPER EDITION PrIce shoots from $60 all the way to $89 and $99, for one suped up copy. All while giving rich kids the bonus content up front to gain the edge. I'm sorry, but this isn't any different from EA's venture with their loot boxes. Its just another
money gain way of doing it. Bonus content is meant to be unlocked in game. Dead or Alive 5 Core Fighters is a prime example. I've got one for Microsoft,I'm not paying for any of this **** anymore, I'm investing that future money into a PC build. Consoles are
no longer worth my interest.

Prices

The breaking up of the gold family memberships is unclear about the pricing. I currently have 3 memberships on my gold membership. Does this mean I will have to pay for three separate gold memberships on renewal? That is quite a bit difference in price!!
ARE YOU THAT HUNGRY FOR MONEY!!! If not, please ease my worries by explaining clearly the new way of pricing gold memberships.

I'm sorry that you have issue with the pricing, but those are set this way on purpose. There are always other ways of making your money go further, such as Daily Deals and Indie Games though.

Pricing is largely done by the publishers, not Microsoft. So they're going to try to figure out a way to make as much money as possible.

Ok makes sense, but Microsoft needs to say something. However because it is their infastructure and online entity that they're using to distribute this through. On one video game anything higher than $60 is just ridiculous. $90 for one game, for that price
you could have purchased two games. Microsoft needs to run their own service, and not let publishers up the ante.

First off, the publishers set the digital prices on xbox and playstation. Secondly, as long as games are sold at retail the digital games will always be high(same price at retail) because they would undercut the retailers and retailers would stop selling
games and/or the consoles making everyone lose money. Also retailers sell other products so they can mark games or various products down in price so they can sometimes be cheaper for the disc then for digital download. Steam can get away with it because almost
no pc games are sold at retail.
