Washed out colours on XBox Series S at 1440p

I have a 1440p monitor and if I set the output resolution of the Xbox Series S to 1440. The image appears washed out, see below:

But if I change the resolution output to 1080, the colours are way more vibrant and colourful.

Does anyone have a fix to resolve the washed-out colours at 1440p? This happens across all games and the Xbox UI

No worries. Glad I could help you before that other user got you to waste money on a new monitor (only to still have the exact same issue).

This guy is likely onto something thing. I had to deal with a 3-D TV adapter that would crush all the blacks if you didn’t set it to RGB. Sometimes devices miss report what they support, so you have to force it

I couldn't find anything about the Monitor spec-wise as the Asus website was more about it's beauty. But what I can tell for sure is that from the images you sent, the issue is with the Monitor. Also you'll need a HDMI 2.1 compliant Monitor to get 1440p with no problems.
