Was Your Early Adoption of the Xbox One Worth It?

I didn't get mine early.



I got my ONE when it released last November.



Really enjoying the games.



There's just so many games and so much to do in all of them.

Yes. I've had a ton of fun with DeadRising3, Forza 5 and even BF4 MP. I still have my 360 which is basically my GTA:V and Halo4 machine at this point.... but ONE definitely gets more use.

 

Well worth it. Its been alot of fun. Picked up forza recently can't believe how much I enjoy it. With these tweaks coming I hope they are minor. I DO NOT want to see the 360 dash on the x1.

 

I don't think I've ever been more excited about a console's future. Bring on the games. I will be Mr Titanfall/Battlefront in 2015, guaranteed. The Division and Watchdogs will help the wait, a LOT. I can't WAIT for these awesome titles to start coming!

 

I like seeing a console life how it begins and the changes it goes through.

Sure GG, I've been happy with every day one console I've ever bought, the XB1 is no different.

 

i just bought mine yesterday, got rid of my 360 for school a few quarters ago and now was able to get a console again so i figured why not just get the one. i was stoked now im back home from school on the second day of owning it and go to play a game and
boom i have to install the game.....why are there even disks.... 2 hours later only at 4% omg i just want to play a game if i could use the POS im sure id love it but alas i cant and im getting sick of waiting and tempted to return it and just build a pc

Yes, it was worth it to me. It was time for a new generation console and the xb1 is pretty awesome. I thought I was going to spend more time using it as a media hub but that hasn't been been the case. I have only been playing games on it.

I only have 3 games but they are fun and keep me playing for 2-3 hours a day. I never played 2-3 hours a day on the 360 in the last two years.

 

Yes, it was. I ordered mine the Saturday after the release. It got held up in a blizzard so delivery was delayed. Hooked it up, downloaded everything, got some games, all good. I was going to get one sooner or later, I figured sooner would be as good as
later. The mfg date on mine is Nov 13/13 (?) I think, so it wasn't the first batch off the line.

 

Where can you see the mfg date? Mine has been here for just 2 weeks now, so mine most certainly isn't first batch, but just curious.

 

Glad i waited, main feature i use on my 360 (apart from gaming) is missing. Couldnt afford 2 consoles but i feel i made the right choice. I was itching to pick up a xo when they were released but the more i go without one, the less i want one. Would prob
be different if i wasnt experiencing the next gen experience tho.
