Was referred by brother to upgrade to Xbox one for 25k promotion

i purchased the xbox one through his email for refer a friend and then signed up for the rewards program after the purchase. will i still be able to relieve my 25k points? . If not then I will return the Xbox since I haven't even received it yet to accomplish
the promotion. In addition I spent 35 minutes with xbox chat support to find out if they could add the points directly to my account and they said no and upon further review told me there was a glitch in their system and that my account I have had for 6 years
does not exist even tho I can sign in / conect xbox live/ and have confirmation of paid subscriptionS. if you are able to add my points without returning the Xbox to go through the same process would you have any problems identifying my account to which the
points will go? I hope this does not have to continue to be a pain in the butt as it has been this far.

Any Xbox One would be eligible as long as you activate it by July 31.

xbox 360 owners upgrading to xbox one!!

There is a promotion now on xbox rewards, for each refered friend that upgrades to xbox one from xbox 360 we will both receive 25 000 rewards credits ($25), anyone who is upgrading to xbox one and would like to help me and get credits as well please add me and let me know ; my gamertag is RaulAndresP.

It sounds to me as if you'll receive your points as will your friend. I apologize you may have had difficulty with an Agent locating your account but the referral email you received should have had you log into an account to complete the purchase and as
long as that's the account you use then you should be fine. Rewards points are not added instantly but rather near the end of the month in which they were earned.

For issues with the Rewards program, you'll need to post here -
forums.xbox.com/.../29.aspx

Credits for that offer should show as pending by March 15. Your friend would need to keep an eye on his Rewards page to see if your referral shows as completed, but if you guys don't get the credits by the 15th, you'll need to post on the Rewards forum.

It was great to see Call of Duty being available on Day One and included in the upgrade promotion for Xbox One. If only Battlefield 4 was available on Games on Demand with the same upgrade promotion available.
