So I last-minute pre-ordered Borderlands 3 on Xbox and on PC, got the deluxe edition for PC and the standard for Xbox. I got the Xbox version since my friend mainly played on Xbox, so I wanted to play with him from time to time, but the performance was
ABYSMAL on Xbox, and it also had a bug where my screen would turn really dark after exiting the inventory (not present on PC), causing me to be unable to do anything as I couldn't see anything, and it happened about three times in my single session. I told
my friend that it wasn't worth it, and just decided to wait until he got it on PC on sale, or just play something else with him. I had 2 hours and 8 minutes in that single session, and requested the return within I believe 3 days after purchase. This is highly
ridiculous, as the game did not function as intended, and clearly put it into the return information.

I haven't experience any of the issues you describe, though I have seen some.

You played for 2 hours and 8 minutes, I think at this point you were trying to play right up to the limit and went past it.

Unfortunately there are rules for the returns policy that need to be met. even small amounts of leniency towards 1 person, when there are millions of people out there, could cause many other ripple effects. Our actions all cause some small affect on the
world without realizing it.

Sorry you're unable to get the refund though, after a patch or 2 the game should become alot more stable atleast. Initial teething problems are usually expected these days

While that is super frustrating, the ability to even return digital games after playing is pretty lenient in comparison to many other policies by retailers and online gaming services.

I will say on an encouraging note that Gearbox is actively reviewing feedback and working on improving the game. Sometimes things are rocky at launch and take some time to tweak.

If within 2 hours of play you are not drawn in.. I think it's safe to say you may not enjoy it. I generally know within the first 30 minutes to an hour if i will like it or not. I understand what you are saying but how much time do you expect them to give
you? I think 2 hours is alright considering.

I wasn't trying to play up to the limit, I bought the game on release as me and my friend wanted to experience it together. His main platform was Xbox and mine was PC, but no cross platform. I told him I'd give it a try, but I didn't enjoy the experience.
I have never return a game through Xbox before, and never saw their rules on returns. I also don't believe I ever had to return a game on PC (Steam) either.

I figured that when I went to return it it would have something similar to a physical copy return policy. I understand its up to the consumer to know those policies before hand, but it's rude of you to assume that I simply just wanted to play the game as
much as I could and return it. If I wanted to do that I would just get a physical copy.
