Was able to connect to XBox Live yesterday.

So I got a new debit card a few months ago and I forgot to update my payment info. I cannot connect to Xbox Live Gold or to the Division. today. I promptly went and paid for a full year of Xbox live and got the confirmation email stating that I have paid.
But I still cannot connect. Do I need to wait a certain amount of time before I can connect?

Xbox Live Preview Program Update(4/21/15)

I updated my xbox 360 console yesterday and haven't been able to connect to xbox live since yesterday, they update says its unavailable until further notice please help me!? I also signed up for the Xbox Live Preview Program fyi

Unable to connect to XBox Live Service even though my internet is up

Hallo DWHxMaRKsMaN! There was a known connection issue yesterday but it's been resolved. Are you able to connect to Xbox Live now?

Sometime it does take a little time for everything to sync up. If it hasn't synced up yet try performing a hard reset on you console. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from
the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test the results. I had that work for a couple of others earlier.

First off thank you for the help that you have offered.

I tried doing the hard reset twice and I still cannot get into Xbox Live.

I am now looking for a telephone number for support so that I can actually talk to someone live and see if they can't help.

It can sometimes take 24 to 48 hours for all of the information to sync up across all games and accounts. If you're still having issues, you can reach out to the chat or phone team in your region through this link.
