Warzone teammates names are different

My warzone teammates names pop up as different names " today I loaded into a rebirth game and one of my teammates names was Odion but when i told him he said it wasn't him and I knew because when he spoke a different. Name popped up then then I told him that was his name said yes but I still don't know can you help

Hi IvanCruzld, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

For cases like this what we initially need to do is to quit the game and perform a power cycle in that way once you launch the game your in-game data will just re-sync.

Kindly quit the game and follow the steps below before you re-launch the game.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Can you explain how? I'm trying to figure this out for my Cod Warzone captures but nothing I do seems to record game chat from my cross play teammates or enemy death cams.

Also to add to what Smwutches said, as the reason behind that name being there is unknown I'd suggest changing your password just to be on the safe side!

Go to http://account.live.com and you can change the name there. Not sure why it wouldn't have the correct name already though.

Xbox clips don't record voice/game chat currently. You can record the voice on a different device and then add it to your gameplay, or stream the content trough twitch. You can also use a capture card.

But if you don't have any equipment, only the Xbox recording feature will not record the game chat/party voice.
