    Warzone stuttering on Series X 120hz


    I just got an Xbox Series X to play Warzone at 1440p 120hz with VRR on. I play on a Dell s2721dgf. When I enable 120hz I get a lot of stuttering, mainly inside buildings and especially in the Gulag. When I play on 60 hz, this doesn't happen. Can anyone help
    me with this? Because when I am outside, it runs so smooth on 120 hz that 60hz isn't as enjoyable.. One of the main reasons I bought the Series X was the ability to run Warzone better than in my One X, which turns out to not be the case.. 1080p and 1440p doesn't
    make a difference, so it's got something to do with the 120hz.

    Help would be appreciated!

    Xbox Series X Frame Rate Issue

    As of the moment of this writing, WarZone does not yet have Xbox Series X/S "Optimized" logo on my personal Xbox Series X although I see in the news it is.... You may need an edition or update for avoiding running in Xbox One emulation mode for the moment, and it not being written as "native' game for Series X/S, may relate to its stuttering at 120hz. This may be a question for the game developer more than for Xbox.

    However, I wanted to reiterate that having to force-enable the 120hz at 1080p (or any other supported resolution/refresh for that matter), is a symptom of a cable without enough bandwidth needing a newer cable to fix, so you may be experiencing more than one issue at the same time.

    You will need the Xbox Series X for 4K 120hz. The Series S can only do 1440p 120hz

    I found out the problem. For some reason, vrr ( variable fresh rate) was greyed out under graphics. I unplugged the hdmi and pluged back in and it is enabled again.

    I don't understand why at first place it was greyed out and console was keeping at 120 hz constant. Now it fluctuates again and game is really smooth and graphics are great.

    yeah its warzone, your not gonna get a flat out 120fps from that game at 1440p thats for sure. thats why the console allows vrr for those drops, not sure why your getting stuttering unless vsync or vrr are not working correctly.

    It was vrr and now it is constant at 120hz. I cannot figure why it is constant refresh rate now.
