Warzone and maybe series s bug?

Hey im posting for a friend as hes not tech savvy. He owns a series s and has recently updated his warzone(monday 14th febuary ) as season 2 has began, before this update hes been playing the game fine even had a successful win! Yay! But after this big update everytime he goes into a lobby once the lobby timer depletes it removes him from that lobby and back to the xbox home screen. It does this same thing on every game mode of warzone and not on the rebirth mode that mode works fine. We have done a full internet hard reset, uninstalled the game and all adds on, moved the game over to his internal storage from his hard drive, and done a standard xbox reset also and still this issue persists, the strange thing about this is an hour before this like i said above we had a win together and dnt have any bugs or issues like this. im aware that this isnt exactly sounding like a problem microsofts end nor an xbox based issue bit ive looked everywhere and asked everywhere i can but still no resolve soo ive come to this friendly place to see if theres anything i couldve missed or could even try to help him. Please help me help him thanks in advance.

Seems like you have performed all the necessary steps. Is this the only game that your friend is having an issue with the Xbox Series S? If yes, you may need to ask your friend to reach out to Activision to report the issue that he is experiencing after the update. I got you the link where you can reach out to them.

Have you tried to create a channel and invite your friend to the channel??

And also is your friend able to add you?? Maybe you could provide your friend with your Activision ID to see if they can add you. Via the social tab

Playername#1234567

I hope this gets resolved for you. You can also try logging it with Activision.

That’s not a controller issue, the Xbox Wireless Controllers don’t have a reputation for obliterating computers. My controllers, which include the Series X|S version and the Xbox One version, both connect and work fine with it.

(With the exception of the Series X|S controller being almost completely unusable right now for me, due to firmware bugs. But even with those bugs, it didn’t screw up my computer or the game I was playing.)

Maybe the game you’re trying to play doesn’t have gamepad support?
