Warzone and Halo crashing/shutting off series x

When I play Warzone, the game will randomly crash and send me to the dashboard. Sometimes I can play and everything is fine, sometimes the game crashes every other match. This has only recently started happening with the latest warzone update

When playing halo:Infinite, I can play one or two games, but after 20-30 minutes the game either crashes and sends me to the dashboard, or my Xbox shuts off completely. This also happened when trying to play the campaign for halo

I have no idea why this happens, I can play other games (MLB the show, assassins creed, etc…) for hours with no issues, but halo is consistently unplayable and now recently warzone will crash me to the dashboard

Some “fixes” I’ve tried are doing a factory reset of my console, and restarting in general. I also saw the claim my Xbox might be overheating, but I know that’s not it. It has plenty of ventilation and I’ve even tried pointing a fan at the vents and when it crashes I’ll put my hand around the Xbox and it’s not hot at all.

I don’t know if this is a console issue or an issue with the newer games but it’s frustrating that I never had problems with my Xbox One, and now this newer “improved” Xbox Series X can’t play these certain games

Halo infinite was hard crashing a lot for me at launch but then seemed to work perfectly through December and now after the most recent update I’m back to crashing almost every game. The game even crashes in the main menu sometimes. Half the time it crashes to Xbox dashboard half the time it shuts the whole Xbox off. I’m on a series x. I’ve done all the troubleshooting tips. This game is broken.

I uninstalled and reinstalled warzone this morning. First game on, within 30 seconds of the game, instead of crashing to the dashboard, my Xbox shut off completely…

I've been playing CoD Vanguard since launch and Halo infinite multiplayer since beta-current, as well as campaign up until today when my new Xbox series X Halo edition arrived. Both of these mentioned game titles are unplayable and cause my new console to crash consistently. I have done your mentioned steps even though I have had my console for about 8 hours now.

Are there any additional suggestions that you can make or is this just an every game thing now with these new consoles?

I'll suggest you first try fully reinstalling the games in the question

I was starting to think I was the only one. Here’s a response I got after submitting a ticket:
