warranty with out console

So i bought a xbox one s controller for my PC (yay Bluetooth) a few moths of use the triggers and stick start sticking so i thought hey warrantys still good lets get it repaired, nope turns out to even contact support you need to own a console after an hour
of trying to get in contact i finally did they say we have to create a dummy serial number it will take 5 days well call you back so four days latter get an email "

It looks like we are not receiving any response from you. I tried to contact you through the number you've given us but unfortunately I've been unable to reach you. For the meantime, I will consider the issue is resolved." never got a call so i thought
hey email them back nothing so i call today dude has left who knows where he went. the person i spoke to couldn't do anything and basically told me to wait. has any one else dealt with horrible support or does the world just hate me?

Extended Warranty - really necessary?

No point to be honest.

1. Sign into your Xbox profile on Xbox.com
2. Register your console using the serial number

You will have 15 months warranty provided by Microsoft which is default. My console warranty runs out on February 2015. So to me extended warranty is pointless and by that time if my console is faulty after warranty I don't think it will cost too much for out of warranty repairs unlike Sony (money leeches). By the way you get same warranty on Kinect too

We provide a post-service warranty for serviced consoles. The length of the warranty depends on whether the service was in-warranty or out-of-warranty as follows:

In-warranty service: If your Xbox 360 console was serviced within the original warranty period (free repair), you receive either the balance of your original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.

Out-of-warranty service: If your Xbox 360 console was serviced out of the original warranty period (paid repair), your serviced console will have a 90-day warranty

It's best to contact support again in this case via the chat or phone teams. If you don't own an Xbox Console, they will need to take alternative means to set up the order. You'll also want to double check your account information is accurate on
account.live.com since that is the information they use to contact you. You can contact Official Xbox Support through either the live chat option (if available) or phone team

Hey BotafogoFR1995,

Thanks for keeping us updated. The image appears to show one out of warranty console, and one console that is in warranty. The console that has an active warranty can be repaired at no charge. The console that is out of warranty can still be repaired,
but there is a fee for the repair. You cannot create a repair order for the one that is in warranty and send the one that is out of warranty. The service center will deny the repair if the serial numbers do not match. We hope this information helps
