    Hard Drive has been wiped clean.

    Since having these problems i installed a new aftermarket fan. I realise this was stupid as it voided warranty but whats done is done. These modifications have nothing to do with the problem though as it happened before I voided warranty

    Sometimes contacting the main customer service line and asking them can net some results. Depending on how the work order was made, whether through them or on your own, they can often see the work order notes. Depending on what's wrong though it may not
    go all that in depth. It's enough to just have one of the seals be tampered with to void the warranty or if it shows significant signs of wear or abuse externally. But I'd start with giving customer service a call, 1-800-4-MY-XBOX.

    You wan't to install your own HD and remove the one that came installed? Be warned that by doing this you void the warranty for the Xbox entirely.
    Yes i am aware of the the warranty void.. I dont have any warranty for it to void.... But thanks for the warning.

    It voids the warranty, but that's probably about it. Whether it's actually compatible I don't know, but it can be replaced, there are even instructions on YouTube. But as said, it will void warranty.

    FYI, doing this could possibly void a warranty, as the warranty states it can be voided if you operate the system outside recommended paramaters, and using any external cooling method is specifically declared operating outside the paramaters. Even using
    the intercoolers you can buy in stores can void warranty.
