Warranty status not reflecting correctly for newly purchased Xbox One S

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that. But it shouldn't be a problem. You simply contact Microsoft (email/chat/phone) explaining your situation. Microsoft will ask you to send the invoice of the console with the current purchase date (via eMail) then your case will
be processed and the warranty will be adjusted.

hence why you by new goods from a retailer not ebay, when you purchase from a retailer microsoft can change the warranty status to reflect your purchase date on your receipt.

An xbox 360 s comes with a one year warranty starting on the date of purchase. Its possible to purchase extended warranties from either microsoft or the place of purchase. To have purchased one from microsoft, you would have had to have already registered

Hello thanks for the link however this only lets you ourchase an xbox and then the warranty from what i can see? Do you have a link to puchase an extended warranty fir my newly purchased xbox?

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry for the issue with your warranty. You will need to request a call from support. Here is a guide I use to request a call.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

• Step 1 ----click on Contact us
  
• Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
  
• Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next
  
  Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call
  

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.
