Warranty seems to have expired early.

I purchased my Xbox One X last year in the month of May. I was checking my device status and noticed that my One X is out of warranty coverage. This doesn't seem right as the Xbox is not a year old yet. Has anyone experienced this problem before? How can
I fix this problem?

So, all warranty information should be available on your devices page as you had alluded to. This may be something you'd want to contact a support representative about for possible recovering/extending the warranty on the device since its warranty was terminated
early.

You may also want to double check the information on the warranty you had if you can find it, to make sure the warranty was for sure for a year... other things you may want to consider before contacting a support rep; where you bought the console from and
when exactly (if you can find a receipt or proof of purchase.)

The warranty expired as of February 2019, so unfortunately it seems like something I either have to pay for or I don't know.

http://myservice.xbox.com . You should see that your warranty expires early 2015, but that you have an extended service plan (ESP) that expires early 2017. That's what mine looks like after buying the
ESP.

I agree that the wording is poor on the plan itself. The
support page for the plan states it gives a full three years of coverage. 'course, it doesn't detail the controller bit. The warranty page shows that the controller warranty is just two controller replacements in a three year period.

Newer remotes seem to be of much better build quality than the early Day One remotes like mine. The flex I had in my D1 was noticeable upon unboxing, however in its credit it has taken just over a year (right after console itself had an expired warranty
but long after the 90day access warranty) before thr right thumbstick began giving trouble and now today the RB has completely failed.

Solution so far? Buy a new remote...
