Warranty return UK

Hi, my son has a faulty disc drive on his xbox one x. Still in warranty so set up a return. Problem is im abit weary of this due to sending to Ireland as cost me £400 as a cyberpunk edition.

Has anyone used the warranty service and all was ok ?

If used the service, i have to sign 3 copies of a custom invoice. Where do i actually put these documents as if i put in box no customs will see them ?

Any help or knowledge would be appreciated as cannot speak to anyone at Microsoft due tobthis crazy Covid world ?

How long did it take for ur console to arrive ?

Did they fix the console for you or did they just send you a new cyberpunk edition Xbox ?

It took 3 to 4 weeks to get to Germany. Once it arrived it was fixed and on my doorstep in 3 days.. how that works ill never know

Thanks for the reply.. never seen the option for the courier.. ive got a little sticky bag i think im going to put 1 x customs invoice in then put other 2 in box.

hi i have sent 2 consoles in for repair and had no issue, it just takes time, i am not sure what if anything has changed but i got sent out a postage package to box up and send to microsoft, the first time i did it i had to stick one of the labels outside of the package for them to scan and it gave you instructions on how to do so,

the 2nd time i paid the holding fee to have my console replaced and they sent their own courier, i wrapped 99% of it then when he arrived i asked him what he needs, he took 1 form and put the other 2 in the box and then i just finalized taping it up, so there is always that option if you are unsure .
