warranty question

Hello Everyone

I live in Hungary and last year ,exactly 2016.07.18. i bought an elite console, just because i wanted an elite controller , i bought from a webshop from Slovakia. I am a hardcore gamer and my work was for 22 years in the gaming scector, i worked for the
largest and oldest Hungarian Pc and Videogames retailer company. My problem is the following. The right analog stick started a personal life, It seems i push it forward(up) and this is very disturbing in games like rainbow six siege or games where this stick
is the camera rotation stick.

I registered the console and the xbox.com page says the warranty due to 2018 march. I contacted the hungarian Microsoft support where they said the controller no longer warranty void because only the console has two year warranty other peripherials only
has one year. My question is the following if the date of purchase is no longer than one year , than why my controller not acceptable for the warranty , and why not Microsoft service it for me free of charge or why i am not taking a new elite controller for
free for replacement the bad one ?

I use the controller every day , i use it normal way, i dont play games whiches are controller killers .

Hello ,I am in Argentina, I want to buy xboxone in Hongkong or Europe, but i don't know if i have warranty en Argentina?

Warranty question

The warranty you have for the console is a standard warranty which everyone receives from MS. If you have a problemwoth your xbox setup a repair and they will either repair it or send a refurbished one.

The warranty for the xbox console is 1 year while the warranty for accessories is 90 days and that includes your controller. For more check your retailer warranty.

Yes. I bought it from EB Games.

Does the same retailer also perhaps sell used consoles?? or nearly new ones?

I purchased mine, Nearly new, from an Independent UK Game retailer, the console had already been registered on xbox.com to the previous owner only 2 months before he traded it into the retailer. So, when my registration was accepted, it only showed 10 months
remaining on my manufacturers (microsoft) warranty.

Sorry to say this, but it could well be that your console was not brand new, to you, on your purchase.

This would not affect any other warranty that EB Games may have given you in addition however, its wise to keep a proof of purchase for that, then any issues then after the Microsoft Warranty has expired, you would take up with EB Games.

You'd need to contact Shopto to get the details. It seems you do have a warranty until Feb 2015, but I'd call just in case.
