    Warranty query regarding a replacement console


    I requested a repair back in April/May 2019 for a faulty One X and I not long after received my replacement console (annoyingly my original was just out of warranty and cost maybe £250)

    I have now today encountered an issue with the replacement console where it boots up but there is not signal on my display, I have followed all the recommended steps and tried different displays, still no luck

    I have then looked to request a repair, and the warranty on this console says it has expired January 2019, how is it possible that I receive this Xbox 3 maybe 4 months after its warranty expires? And then expected to pay the same kind of price for a replacement
    again, when arguably at this point in time I could go to a store and buy a pre owned console for around the same price, with a 24 month warranty

    Surely this can't be right?

    I'm having a similar type issue. Had to get my console replaced in November due to disc drive failure. I got a new replacement console and when I checked the settings my warranty was due to run out in February 2015, I queried that as technically I have
    a brand new piece of hardware so therefore that should be covered with another 12 month warranty but was advised that isn't the case and the original warranty remains in place, seems rather bizarre to me.

    Thank Daryl, very strange, i checked my warranty of the controller with its serial number but it is shown expired since Jan 2023. I bought the console that comes with this controller in July 2023 from the local distributor, Singtel. The console is shown in my account now is still under warranty. So, can I get the warranty replacement for the controller?

    Why does my Xbox elite controller series 2 refuses to connect to my windows 11 PC?
