    What is the warranty period for an Xbox series x wireless controller? I registered mine, and it says that it has only a 7 months left, yet it is brand new from Best Buy.

    The warranty period is for the console, not the peripherals. The controller only gets a 3 month (90 day) warranty.

    I ordered my controller online off of the Microsoft store and have run out of warranty but I'd still like to exchange the product. I'm only 1 month outside the warranty.
