Warranty on refurb Xbox One

I'm curious if the refurbs come with a warranty. Even if it is 30 days or 90 days that'd work for me. I've tried to come on chat support, but am unable to cause I can't fill in my first and last name cause it's greyed out. I'm from the USA.

I found one on eBay which you can use SquareTrade if needed to, but I'd much prefer Microsoft's warranty service. Better yet, if anyone knows a way to get me able to fill in my first name and last name in chat, that'd be great too.

The older Xbox's came with a 20gb HD, and were not externally labeled, that is likely what you have.

As far as repair vs replace, check with MS on what thier warranty on repairs is, and compare it to any warranty you may have with the refurb. I would go with the better warranty.

If you go with a refurb, you can move your HD to the new one, as long as it isn't one of the new "Slim" models. Which means you can save money and get a referbished Xbox without a HD.

"One Year Express Warranty on Console. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty, Microsoft warrants to you only (the original retail purchaser) that, during the Warranty Period and under normal use and service, the Xbox® Console will
substantially conform with the printed user instruction materials packaged with the Console.

Under the B Section its states on how to obtain a warranty service in terms of repair or replacements

go to the Billing part of your account and see if your name is updated there if not lets add it. If it still consists then lets
edit your account name.

 

@PurpleNurpe: I did all that now, and the box is still greyed out in my first and last name. I do not have my Xbox One yet. Could that also be why it is not letting me in chat? I plan to register the console online through the website.
