Warranty of an Xbox One Elite Series 2 controller- What shipping label?

My Series 2 is broken. The upper right paddle(when regarded from the back) only works sporadically(sometimes it accepts the input, other times not).

The warranty itself is still active and when I go to claim it, the proxess itself works just fine. On step 3 though, it tells me to print out a shipping label to put on the box I intend to send the damaged controller in. Issue is, I have absolutely no idea
where to get this shipping label from.

It has been a couple hours now, and I have recieved no email either, so I am honestly unsure where I am supposed to get this label from.

Hey there mawiie420,

Thank you for reaching out to the forums, unfortunately for Standard Xbox One controllers you will not receive a shipping label.

A shipping label is only sent out when you set up a repair for:

Xbox One console within 1 year warranty
Xbox One Elite controller within 90 days warranty
Xbox One Design Labs controller within 120 days warranty.

In this case you will have to pay for the shipping on your side through any shipping company that is available to you.

The shipping mail should arrive on the email registered to your account. Maybe check the spam filter, if nothing has shown up.

They recently extended the warranty for elite 2 to one year. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/elite-controller-series-2-warranty . maybe this will help

This post is correct. You must contact Microsoft or Xbox Support. The Service Request will be attached to your email. When approaching an associate please make sure you have your confirmation email handy.

Sorry to hear it. You'll need to speak with support for help creating a ticket. Please click this link to start a chat. As to be escalated to a Microsoft Advocate as the first level of support (gamer level) will not be able to help. Be aware that a Release is not the same as an Escalation, just in case you get someone who wants to release the ticket.
