    Background - my XBOX ONE X only lasted a few months before the Blu Ray player packed up and it had to go in for repair. It’s been repaired, but now I have lost my warranty on it for the remainder of the year. Does anyone know why this is, am I being sent
    a reconditioned one and you lose the year warranty or if Microsoft repair it once, then that’s it, the warranty is over?

    There is nothing anyone in the forums can do. If the warranty is up and you have already been in contact with support about the issue and they have declined to any support because of the expired warranty then there is not much else that can be done.

    page, after repair or replacement, your Xbox One console will be covered by this warranty for the longer of the remainder of your original Warranty Period, or 90 days after Microsoft ships it to You. Where required by
    applicable law, the original Warranty Period will be deemed to extend for the period of time equal to the time which Your Xbox One or Accessory was in Microsoft’s possession.

    As far as the status of the specific Xbox One console you received is concerned, we're afraid we wouldn't be able to speculate on that.

    We recommend reaching out to
    chat or phone support
    to take a closer look into your service request case for further clarification on the status of your Xbox One console.

If you've registered your device, sign in at Device services to see the device's warranty status. If it's within warranty, repairs are free. If your device is out of warranty, you'll be charged a repair fee.

    After you have registered you device, follow these steps:
