Warranty Information update on newly purchased Xbox One

Good Evening,

I have recently purchased (1 week ago) a Xbox One and find that there is only a few months left (6 months) in the warranty. I have tried using the Xbox support channels, virtual agent is useless and takes me back to request a live chat which does not work
as well.

How do I go about updating warranty information?

Hi Jacques,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry for the issue with your warranty. You will need to request a call from support. Here is a guide I use to request a call.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us
Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

Hello thanks for the link however this only lets you ourchase an xbox and then the warranty from what i can see? Do you have a link to puchase an extended warranty fir my newly purchased xbox?

which store did you purchase from

sign in to your Xbox account at https://account.microsoft.com/devices/ and make sure you have registered your Xbox.

if it isn't registered it won't show as covered by warranty.
