    what is the warranty on these controllers i got mine day one and am being told its out of warranty ****. I had the series 1 or original and it had a year with it. I have stick drift real bad and it wont connect to anything i have to use the cord. If this
    is the way xbox is going to be then maybe i wont get the new xbox and make the switch. just saying

    Elite series 2 controller replacement

    Warranties cover a like for like replacement if required under that warranty so as far as I know, yes, if you send an Elite series 2 in for replacement you will receive an Elite series 2 back.

    I would recommend an Elite series 2 WITH A WARRANTY. The series 2 is a nice controller to own but has a history of breaking down at the worst times. If you get an extended warranty it will make the purchase worth it.

    The issues in the elite series 2 are really a lot, and like always some are affected others not. Many users reported that even getting a new one by using the warranty came with problems.

    If you have an elite series 2 with issues I recommend you to send it for repair, while you have warranty available.
