Warranty deadline 45 days?!

Just told I missed my warranty deadline cause it was 45 days. The 360 had a year so of course I thought the same would be for the xbox one. I used to love xbox, but now I'm just hugely disappointed with a company that seems like they know a product is gonna
fail after the first year and is ready to reap the rewards of service charges. If the 2yr warranty went to a specific date why give someone only 45 days when in that years time that they ARE covered they can tell if they are gonna have problems. seriously
thinking of just jumping ship and taking it back to walmart. They at least give you 90 days. Please extend the time to purchase a warranty. And everyone should be sending feedback to Microsoft to let them know how messed up that is.

Yes. Microsoft DOES offer an extended warranty. HOWEVER, it does have to be purchased no later than 45 days after purchasing your xbox one system. So unless your purchased your xbox one less than 45 days ago then your system is no longer eligible to be covered
by the extended warranty.

Still within my 45 days to purchase the Xbox one official warranty...debating it.

 

xboxone has a year warranty br0 and 90 day accessory warranty man. who told you 45

 

It actually has a 1 year console warranty and a 90 day accessory warranty.

If you got to myservice.xbox.com and register your console it will tell you when your warranty expires.

Sorry I may have not been clear. Yes I understand it has a one year but you only have forty five days to purchase an extended warranty for an additional two years after that one is up. Why if we have a year can we not purchase an extended warranty in that
time. Why 45 days? What if these consoles have like a rrod symptom ( not that but something like it) and we are left with a paperweight after the first year. It's bad business. It's simply says to me well something might happen so after 45 days your *** and
are stuck with only the year.

I was just able to purchase one at myservice.xbox.com and i have had it for more than 45 days.

 

I'm going to either sell my day one and buy a new one or buy a playstation, I've been loyal for 10 years I expected to be treated better than this.
