    For the past three days I've been trying to file a warranty claim for my elite series 2 controller. I never get an actual error message but when it comes to selecting a shipping method (expedited or free shipping) it gets stuck loading for both options.
    I've tried refreshing, closing the page, using a different device, and even using different wifi. I'm nearly positive this is and issue with the website and not my network. I'd love to be able to do this over the phone if that's an option as my warranty is
    running out and I'd like to have my controller back in operation.

    Finding immediate support for this has been beyond difficult. When I call the support line, they tell me to schedule a call and hang up. I don't see why I can't be placed in a quewe immediately. So I schedule a call and when they do call I still have to
    wait only to be hung up on, twice. I'm not sure if it's because of COVID that the support lines are not available at the moment but in either case this should not be happening. I'm not too upset or anything, just wanted to offer some constructive criticism.

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are unable to register the controller. In this case we recommend requesting a call from support to assist you in the repair set up.

    When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:



    • Step 1 ----click on Contact us
    • Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
    • Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

      Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

    Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

    Can't open a return request

    I have been having the exact same issue for three weeks now, and my Elite Series 2 warranty runs out on Jan 30th, if Microsoft can't fix their account before then then I won't be able to claim it at all. Also had the same issue with trying to contact Microsoft support... almost seems like a scam to avoid accepting warranty requests.

    The issues in the elite series 2 are really a lot, and like always some are affected others not. Many users reported that even getting a new one by using the warranty came with problems.

    If you have an elite series 2 with issues I recommend you to send it for repair, while you have warranty available.
