warning to Xbox players

so I was playing GTA online with a friend last night when this kid came to try and kill us (this kid is known as [Mod Removed]). So, he failed pretty quickly, my friend and I went and got him a couple times each; but then he started getting pissed off and
started sending me message after message. This morning, I woke up to threats from this same kid, saying he's gunna get modders to completely delete my account, he's gunna get his modders to come to my house with him and beat me up as well as break my Xbox
over my head lmao there's a lot more he said as well, like my mom being addicted to pills? Something like that anyways. So if anyone runs into this gamertag, please report the gamertag to have him banned from something he clearly doesn't deserve, and if you
know him in real life, please report him to a psych ward, I really think this kid is mentally unstable (he keeps his Xbox on the kitchen counter apparently because that's where mine is gunna be pushed from? LOL)

New To Xbox

Sup gamers, after being hooked on only playstation and nintendo for years ive decided to join the xbox community. I am into mostly all games and willing to try things new, except Gta. I will be getting an xbox soon, then games i will have then
will range from skyrim, destiny, and COD ghosts. Feel free to friend me if you want to join me on my gaming adventures. I will be a big noob at first however sooo fair warning lol

If you haven't done so already, file a complaint on him via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate him. Calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums.

In addition to calling out gamer tags, soliciting people to report some is not allowed either.

But since he did threaten to come to your house, I would report this to local law enforcement as they have tool at their disposal for things like this. Turn it over to them. Then on your console use the "block" function on this gamertag by selecting it
in recently played and blocking him.

Just avoid and block toxic players.If you block them it will mute them and you don't have hear them in game chat or party chat.

they are rules to joining xbox live and xbox does not tolerate any unappropriated communication towards other players.its definable normal to trash talk on mic but once you go on a personal message its easy to ban since the message is coming from you

Something I recommend doing to prevent this is informing your son that he shouldn't affiliate with anyone online and block communications from all strangers. I do not recommend children at a young age to play with strangers and be able to communicate with
them.

Also, you can put a parental restriction on his account so he can not connect to Xbox Live without a parent access key, which should only be inputted when an adult is around.

For security purposes, a young child should not have access to Xbox Live due to the people who are in the gaming community and the damage they can do without second notice.

Unfortunately, a ban on the accounts of these teenagers wouldn't stop them. They can just create a new account and continue this so the only thing I recommend is to prepare your child about situations like this and if you feel is necessary, parental lock
it from doing whatever you want to restrict it from doing.

First off, good move on contacting support, although they really should of given you all the advise you needed. Just to clarify, did you call 1-800-4MY-XBOX? That is the official Xbox support line.

Second, if you have any messages from them, open the messages, bring up the players info and report them then block communications from them. If you don't have any direct messages from them, if your son logs into this site xbox.com and goes to his friends
list, you will see a list of people he recently played games with. Find them on that list, then bring them up on the xbox console and do the same thing I said before, report the players, block communications.

Every report is investigated by the XBox Live Policy and Enforcement Team (XBLPET). What they did is very much against the Xbox TOU and COC and the XBLPET will take action against them.
