    Warning to Canadian Marketplace users

The Canadian marketplace is currently experiencing a bait & switch scam. The console's "Ultimate Games Sale" advertising lists titles as a % off the regular price, however, that % does not match the actual discount you are given. Examples:

Goat Simulator (360) - Console advertised discount: 50% off. Actual discount: 17% off ($4.99 sale price, $5.99 regular price)

The Legend of Kora (360) - Console advertised discount: 50% off. Actual discount: 17% off ($7.49 sale price, $8.99 regular price)

There are likely others, these are just two I happened to notice, so make sure to compare the console price to the regular price before purchasing to make sure you're not getting scammed.

    :)

Just preordered from the Canadian marketplace, which seems to be cheapest - C$60, which after 5% tax works out at around £31-32.

Photo of the console discounts and screenshots of actual pricing (since xbox console doesn't show regular pricing just the current price)

Actually it's listed at the right percentage, it's just listed differently than regular sales. During the ultimate sale, the games are on sale for everyone, but are on sale at a higher percentage for gold members. So where it normally lists the regular price,
that's the sale price for silver members and the price above is the sale price for gold members.

To further clarify, Goat Simulator was $9.99 before the sale, and it currently $4.99 for Xbox Live Gold members. The Legend of Korra is $14.99, but is available to Xbox Live Gold members at $7.49. In the picture you linked, you only see the Silver sale price
and the Gold sale price, not the actual retail price.

Hope this helps! Warning to Canadian Marketplace users :)
