    Warning about using a DarbeeVision DVP-5000S with Xbox


    I recently went through a long tech support chat to find out what was preventing Netflix from working on the Xbox One X (new). My Samsung TV was indicated and I could get the video on a HP computer monitor but the TV either said no signal or Netflix would
    hang. I use a Darbee video processor and it works fine for 1080 rez (not 4K) and was located between my Pioneer receiver and the TV so all HDMI inputs to the receiver would be processed. The next day after the chat, I moved the Darbee so it was between
    the Xfinity DVR and the receiver input and no longer in the path of the Xbox. Netflix worked fine after that. This is just an info post in case anyone else is using a Darbee 5000S.

    Unable to join game or party with friend

    No NAT warning? If you do not have a NAT warning, have your friend (the person who started the game or party you cannot join) test his or her Xbox LIVE connection using the above steps. If your friend also does not have a NAT warning, try the next solution.

    Nat error

    When i test my xbox live connection live connection a connection warning comes up saying my online experience could be limited when i click for more info it brings up a nat error. I dont understand much about this stuff. im using a 02 hotshot e586

    Thanks for the heads up. It sounds like it may have been an HDCP issue. Some TVs do not like an extra device in the HDCP path.

    Ehh...like Netflix, HBO Go is all over the place in my house....I think I have 5 different options (between my DVP, smart TV, TIVO, chromecast, etc.) so not really in a hurry for it personally....I would bet it comes out near the same time as PS4.
