Warframe Xbox LIve

Do you need Xbox live to play with friends on Warframe? I am really confused because I know there are games like Minecraft where if you have your friend added, you don't need Xbox live to play with them. I am wondering if Warframe behaves the same way.
By friends, I mean people who you have added on Xbox. Thank you.

I have a Stream Team with smaller Warframe streamers.

So they are my favorites, I live and breath Warframe so I like to pick the good streamers under the category since right now the Warframe category is pretty small.

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. The game requires Xbox Live Gold to play online with friends. To be able to know if a certain game requires Xbox Live Gold you can read the description that shows right underneath the either "Get" or "Buy"
button the same way it's showing for Warframe in the link below. I wish you a lovely day and I hope this answers your question!

Looks like Warframe will be the first game to support it wheh the feature goes live.

Nononono listen, its not the players issue. Its between warframe and xbox. Im on a wired connection but as i said, ive moved states, have had every ip you can think of and every connection type. Same with others. Just google "warframe disconnected from
xbox live" I'm a little busy atm and couldn't find the fella that got xbox to respond to the issue.

Warframe is an online multiplayer game so you'll need Xbox Live Gold in order to access online features such as the Clan Dojo.
