Warframe mic question

Quick question, folks - has anyone experienced any microphone issues in Warframe? When I started a level and three people joined, I saw the little speaker icon next to their profile pics, but mine didn't have that - was I supposed to, or do we just not see
the mic next to our own pic? I also never saw my name pop up on the side of the screen when I talked during the mission, like it did for others who I heard in-game, who weren't in a party.

I did all of the mic troubleshooting steps - the adapter and cable was plugged in before I powered up the controller, I unplugged/replugged the cable, and used the "Choose This Person" option in the profile section. I also opened an empty party just to check,
and I WAS getting mic activity (the little light glowed when I talked) plus the mic adapter works in other games.

Upcoming mouse compatibility questions

For the many people in the insider program we got a glimpse of what mouse and keyboard has to offer for warframe. My questions are, will mice with extra buttons be allowed for configuration for flexable button pressing and if so, will this be up for the
developers to decide or will there be a seperate way, for example in the xbox accessories app?
