    Warcraft UHD 4k BluRay only in 1080p


    Hi,

    I just upgraded to Xbox One S (from my old Xbox One) and am really exited about the 4k support so far. Everything is perfectly upscaled to 4k and 60Hz (Games, normal BluRay movies etc.).

    Now I got finally my first UHD 4k disc (WARCRAFT) yesterday.

    But it will only be played in 1080/24p :-(

    Why is the BluRay App going back to 1080p ??? When I view the normal 1080p BluRay of the movie (in the same package) it will be upscaled to 4k!

    My TV is a SAMSUNG F9090 with SEK 2500 upgrade and everything expect HDR ist checked with GREEN from the Xbox One S setup.

    The Xbox is connected directly to the TV with the delivered cable.

    PS: Netflix is working fine with 4k support!

    HELP!!!

    UHD Bluray won't play in 4K on 4K non HDR TV

    So I have a Samsung 4K non HDR TV, and my xbox one s will show up in 4K when I am on the dashboard, but when I install a 4K HDR bluray disk it only displays in 1080p. Any reason for this? Do the UHD bluray disks not play in just 4K if its also not HDR?

    XBOX ONE - Question about video output.

    The only way to view your Xbox One at 4K UHD: Is to connect Xbox One HDMI Output to an A/V Home Theatre Receiver capable of upscaling 1080p output via HDMI to 4K UHD for UHD television.

    Note: You will potentially see visual artefacts and/or image tearing by upscaling 1080p to 4K UHD.

    Problem solved! I changed the HDMI port to 4 and it works. The copy protection is only working with HDMI4.

    Blu-ray issues on One S

    If that is the case there is a bug in the software because that is the way my console is configured and the bluray app is still up scaling I have attached 1 picture of the dashboard showing resolution of 1080p and another of Ninja Turtles in regular bluray

    Interesting! And the Blu-Ray is a UHD disc?

    No it is a regular blu ray with the settings on the xbox it should not upscale but it is.
