War zone pacific on Xbox one

Warzone is listed as one of the free to play games, however, after the last update the game no longer launches without an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. I don't know the reason for this as no official statement have been put out, but that's just how it's been.

The only way to fix the Goldflake error is by having an active Live Gold subscription.

Hi Jesse - thank you for your reply, I have in fact already been in communication on another forum about this and followed several potential fixes, including deleting saved data and cache. Resetting my router, attaching using an Ethernet cable, and deleting and reinstalling the game (3 times now). None of this worked. It’s been like this since pacific was released, so a while now.

The strange thing is, i loaded and played the game successfully through my friends profile, but my profile doesn’t work at all. I also tried to create a new profile, but this also doesn’t work. I can only play the game now through my friends profile, no other profile works.

The errors I see differ between

-Goldflake

-error code 4

-unable to access network

Any help would be great as this is driving me crazy

I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

- Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

- Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

If that doesn't help, I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

- Select Reset console.

- Choose Keep Games and Apps

Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.

Hello thanks for the reply. I have checked all data packs and add ons and they are all downloaded and on the same hard-drive i even uninstalled and reinstalled as well still no luck but I will look at the links you posted and see if i can find any other methods. Thanks again

Sorry to hear about your issues with getting Call of Duty up and running. Have you verified all appropriate content packs are installed and good to go? I know with that particular title; they have half a dozen packs needing to be installed depending on what modes you're trying to access. This was in an effort to make sure the install size for the game was appropriate for what each user wanted to play.

I would also recommend checking out Activision's support site here and review topics or open a ticket. You will have to log in with your account to get all of the resources available but that would be the best spot for this specific issue. Here is also a list of all known issues being worked on in Warzone specifically.

They do have a guide here that talks about clearing your consoles cache as a possible solution.
