Want to use tablet to stream audio from xbox

All my media is on a NAS (Buffalo Linkstation) it has its own built in DLNA server which worked brilliantly with the 360 so i didnt have to have my computer or tablet on 24 hrs a day
in order to stream content.

Normally tablets are "on" all the time, unless you actively shut them off. Install Skifta and use the tablet to play from the DLNA source to the Xbox One.

i cant stream shows to my xbox from pc or tablet as well

are you streaming direct from your xbox with the webcam plugged in? if so then the audio for your stream automatically comes from your xbox, or do you mean audio as in you talking and that wasnt heard? as i am not sure if a mic thats built into
the webcam is supported, you may have to use a headset for that.

• Are you able to stream other file types without getting this issue?

As others have stated, there is no way to record your audio while using the 'record from now' function.

I stream to mixer and that captures my mics audio, and it's really easy to do too.

The only other alternatives to a capture card is to stream directly from your console to Mixer or Twitch, or use the Xbox App on Windows 10 to stream your console's audio and video to the windows 10 device, then you can use some other software to record,
or stream. ( I hope that made sense).
