Want to turn off the noises my xbox one forza 6 edition makes

Hi, I have the forza 6 edition console and it makes noises such as engine revs or something when I turn it on / off or press the sensor to change discs, and it's doing my head in, especially when i turn it off in early hours of morning, normally it doesn't
make the noises when i turn it on or off by the controller, but it's recently started doing them on console buttons AND controller, and i spent like 1 hour searching through the settings trying to find a way to turn them off.

I'd rather not have to open the xbox up and remove the speaker which makes the noises, although it is a year old now so if the warranty is out i suppose it wouldn't be a big deal.

Any advice?

Forza 6 edition console doesn't make car sounds

A friend of mine just purchased a brand new forza 6 edition xbox one console. The console is supposed to make car sounds when you turn it on and off but it does not make any sounds. Is there a setting to turn these on?

 

Xbox Buzzing when no disc is in tray

So my Xbox360 slim starts to make a buzzing noise whenever I turn it on. I'll take the game disc out, turn off my Xbox, then turn it back on and it still makes the buzzing noise. Any help?

 

Hi there, If you look in settings/ all settings/ power & startup/ power mode & startup, there should be an option to change the Startup chimes.

On another note opening up your Xbox would be a breach of the terms of use and leave you open to a console suspension, not only that but you could never get the Xbox repaired by Microsoft.

 

Ah great thanks, the noises it makes driving me nuts haha, i only got it because this 1Tb forza 6 one was on offer and cheaper than a standard 500GG one , I'll try what you said when i get chance.
