    Hello there, Need a big help. This is my problem: I started to play Xbox live when I used an older email account. When I created a new email address for jobs and all adult live stuff, I tried to switch my Gamertag on it. For some reasons, Xbox created a
    new one for the new email. And now, I try to link my useful email address with the gamertag I'm using. But I can't because they said that this alias is reserved.... I thought about deleting my email from the newest Xbox profil, and put this same email in my
    older Gamertag/Microsoft account. But if I read correctly, I think the procedure will erase my email address and all my mails in it. Am I right?

    Change the country xbox live

    If your talking about Microsoft Points those will stay with the old gamertag as well.

    Need old Gamertag to Replace my new Gamertag

    I do not know how to replace my old gamertag with my new gamertag. I made a new Windows Live ID account because i had forgotten all my old stuff, but I retrieved all my old stuff, But now I just want my old Gamertag. How do I replace the new with the old?

    Unable to transfer gamertag

    I had the issue of losing my old gamertag when I switched from Xbox to Xbox360. This was several years ago now. MSFT refused to do anything after several requests so I stopped paying for Xbox Live.

    I was just about to buy a PS4 but thought I'd check my old gamertag. Guess what? It is available! They seem to have released the old gamertags!

    Unfortunately MSFT want me to pay to get my old gamertag back. The site says you get one change for free. All I wanted was to get my old tag back. I was forced to get a new tag because of what I believe to be a MSFT database issue.

    It's a shame since I wanted to stay loyal to Xbox.

    Back to looking at that PS4 purchase...

    This gamertag isn't allowed. Try a different one.

    But the gamertag that I want to change is my old gamertag. I change my old gamertag on 2 August 2020. I used that old gamertag when I create my Xbox account. At that time, the system allow me to use that gamertag. But when I want to change it back, the system don't allow me to use it. Why is this like that?
