Want to remove my email address from my sons xbox account!

Tried on my own and with chat support. My email address and my son's email address is entangled on his xbox account. I want my email address back! I want to just use his and not have mine related to his xbox in any way any more. Chat support gave me options
to delete password so purchases, etc. would require approval. This did not help in any way. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the response. My problem is I wish to continue to use my own email address and account apart from the Xbox live piece. My son wants to use his own email for the Xbox going forward.

I'm struggling to show what I mean with the removal of even fake email addresses.

I want to use an email address from an unused account as the email on my main account.

That's some solid advice. However my sons xbox account is setup via his mums email address and my Microsoft account is set up from my email address. So unfortunately it's not an email conflict.

well first you need to create a new windows live id to free the old one then you can use the old one for any other account
