No it has not. My original goal was to complete my backlog of Xbox 360 games before I purchased the Xbox One, plus it gave MS time to work out some of the early issues the Xbox One had. However I'm tired of the Xbox 360 and have loved playing Titanfall and
Ryse at a friend's house, not to mention that I have numerous DVD + Blu-ray combo movies and I want to watch those Blu-rays!! The new Kinect-less Xbox One didn't make me want the console anymore than I already did, I'll be purchasing the $500 one that comes
with the Kinect because I think the new Kinect is actually pretty neat.

 

Should I Upgrade to a New Slim xbox 360 Model or wait for the Next generation console?

You have over a year, before the new Xbox is released... So I would buy an Xbox 360 Slim...

You will most likely need the Slim to play 360 games, when the new console comes out too... As the 720, is reported to use, a Blue Laser Diode Drive (Similar to Blu-Ray Drives) & games + DVDs for the 360, run on a Red Laser Diode etc...

I bought this xbox and is brilliant and great value for money, sooo much better than my 4GB one lol

 

Can you get a 500GB model without packaged games? I'm moving to London for a new job and want to pick a 360 up over there, don't want or need any new games for it.

 

You can get a black 500gb from Grainger Games used for just over £150 if that's any help I've not seen it come new without any games
