Want to Change Gold Subscription Renewal but won't let me change country

I'm sorry to see any billing issues! You stated that you've switched from US to Australia, but it sounds like the account itself isn't switched over properly. If you haven't already, try a
region migration for the Xbox Account to Australia, and see if that helps.

If you get an error saying your account is already set to Australia, you'll want to
contact us via phone or chat for further assistance. We're pretty limited on what support we can offer here on the forums for security reasons. However, if they don't help out in a way that is
to your satisfaction, please let me know so that we can look into what our other options are.

Currency doesn't transfer over but a gold subscription does.

It won't transfer if it's not a live supported country.

When did you change region & what region did you change it to?

Do you live in the region you've changed your account to?

I changed country, last month I changed my new country on my console and then my account, and I also updated the billing address for the new country. On the same day I was unable to change my payment method for the Live Gold subscription. I was able to
add my new country credit card and renewed my Xbox Game Pass subscription, but the subscription
Xbox Live Gold only allows me to add old country card. How do I renew my Live Gold subscription? Will I have to buy a prepaid code to renew?

You are probably best getting in touch with support to check this:

1. To start Click Here

2. Click the category related to your problem

3. Click "See Contact Options"

3. Click on the related problem from the selection

4. This will show you an approximate fix for your problem, alternatively, click "Show Contact Options"

5. Once clicked you may choose between "Chat with Xbox Support" and "Request a Call from Support"

6. Fill in required information and you'll be on your way to fixing your issue!

support.xbox.com/.../cancel-xbox-live-gold-subscription - which explains how to turn off auto-renewal.
